Accommodation

Certainly, contact The Missus (Jenni) and let her know your preferred dates and she will do her best to make it work for you.

Full payment for your stay is required at the time of your booking, should you wish to cancel (for any reason) a full refund can be given.

If your cancellation is 14 days prior to your stay, we will refund 50% of your booking (not including credit card transaction fees)

For all stays where a ‘no-show’ occurs (where you fail to turn up for your stay and/or notify us), no refunds will be given.

Our exception to this is in the case of a government enforced lockdown or restrictions due to Covid-19 and Fernlea is unable to host you, in this instance a full refund will be given. Should this be the case, we will of course be in touch.

Breakfast and dinner are included in your stay, as well as light snacks. Plus, we include for you participation within any farm activities you would to get involved in, such as animal care and feeding, bee keeping, growing in the green house, and learning about off grid systems. This is of course fully optional, and you are more than welcome to come and just relax.

Sorry no. We cannot allow children due to our grounds, there are unfenced ponds and a number of hazards for children. Given our property has a number of animals that are very special to us, we simply cannot have any pets of any kinds visit or stay with us.

We do not have a large minimum for our workshops and most  of these can go ahead with just 2-3 people. In the rare case that a workshop is cancelled you will be given the option to rebook on another workshop later in the year or be fully refunded.
